Assumptions

1. Limits may apply on the amount you can salary package with the meal Entertainment Payment Card.
2. The FBT is zero.
3. No other benefit items are salary packaged.
4. All amounts are rounded to the nearest dollar.
5. Fees are not included.
6. The Medicare calculations are approximate.
7. HELP (formerly HECS) repayments and taxation surcharges are excluded.
8. Calculations use PAYG rates applicable as at 1 July 2010.
9. Any potential increase in net dispoable salary is based on the assumption that you would have otherwise paid for the meal entertainment expenses from post-salary (as opposed to salary packaging the meal entertainment expenses from pre-tax salary). Such an increase will vary depending upon salary, employment circumstances, selected benefits and applicable tax treatment.
