Electricity and Public Transport

Employees of some Queensland Government entities are entitled to salary package electricity and/or public transport costs or a combination of both as a Fringe benefit Tax (FBT) exempt benefit up to a combined limit of $1,333.33 per FBT year (1 April - 31 March).

The benefits are offered as reimbursements from your salary packaging account, up to the combined value of $1,333.33 per FBT year for electricity at your place of residence and/or public transport costs incurred by you for travel between your place of residence and your work.
