With the Meal Entertainment Program you could increase your net disposable salary by paying for your dining expenses on your Commonwealth Bank MasterCard and having RemServ pay for these expenses from your salary packaging account.

Whether it's lunch with the kids, coffee and cake with friends, a romantic dinner for two or family restaurant dining (excluding take-away) you can salary package your meal entertainment expenses if this benefit option is available to you through your employer.
You can even salary package catering for special occasions, such as weddings, engagements or birthdays.
A little or a lot ... it's your choice
Regardless of whether you dine out weekly or just occasionally, the Meal Entertainment Payment Card could benefit you.
You can salary package as much, or as little of your salary as you like with the agreement of your employer. Just work out the annual amount that you are likely to spend and nominate this amount on your application form. We will then arrange with your payroll for equal amounts to be deducted from your pay each payday.
How does it work? Example
Tim earns an annual salary of $45,000 per annum (excluding his employer's super contributions) and eats out once a fortnight spending approximately $100. He is considering salary packaging his meal entertainment expenses to cover these meals.
By choosing to salary package his meal entertainment expenses, rather than paying for them from his post-tax salary, Tim could increase his net disposable salary by $819 per annum or $31.50 per fortnight.

How to get started!
To salary package your meal entertainment expenses you will need to already have or apply for a Commonwealth Bank MasterCard.
Your employer will also need to qualify for this benefit - if you would like to find out whether your employer qualifies please refer to your Salary Packaging Employer Guide found in the 'My Employer' section of this website. (Please note this benefit is not currently available for Queensland Health employees.)
Once you have your MasterCard please contact RemServ and we will set-up your salary packaging account and arrange for any meal entertainment expenses charged to your card to be paid from your salary packaging account.
Please note: Payment of charges will only occur where sufficient funds are available in your salary packaging account.
