Your Important Dates
The end of FBT year (EOFBTY) is the time to ensure you make the most out of your salary packaging arrangement. These are the key dates for EOFBTY to mark in your calendar:
Monday 25 March 2024
If you’re eligible for the FBT exemption cap but have not yet reached the cap limit, we recommend submitting your claims before Monday 25 March 2024 to ensure they count towards your 2023-24 FBT year cap.
Sunday 31 March 2024
If you have a RemServ Wallet, we recommend that you spend your available RemServ Wallet balance by Sunday 31 March 2024 for it to be counted towards your 2023-24 FBT year cap.
Remember: you don’t lose the funds themselves, but you could miss out on the full tax benefit by not spending to your cap limit.
Some vendors and financial institutions will take a few days to process transactions, RemServ is not responsible for any vendor or financial institution processing delays.
To view your Wallet balance, simply log into the RemServ app to access your dashboard.
Living Expenses: If you have Living Expenses funds remaining and won’t be able to spend them before end of FBT year, consider purchasing a gift voucher to spend at a later date. This will clear your balance and let you maximise your full cap for the year!
Pre-pay bills: Where your provider/supplier allows, consider pre-paying your bills in advance to help you spend your available Wallet funds, which will be counted towards the current 2023-24 FBT year!
Sunday 31 March 2024
End of FBT year. The new FBT year begins on 1 April.
Make the most of your salary packaging with these easy checks:

If you’re eligible, have you maximised this year’s full FBT cap limit?

Please note while you can roll over any of your unspent available balance, your FBT cap resets in the next year. You do not lose the money; you just may miss out on potential tax benefits for the FBT year if you don’t claim your full available cap amount before midnight 31 March.
2. Make a claim
Submitting a claim online has never been easier!
The RemServ app lets you claim on the go from an Apple or Android™ mobile device. With built in camera functionality, all you need to do is click, claim and go!

Meal Entertainment and Venue Hire claims
What am I eligible for?
If you’re eligible to claim for Meal Entertainment and/or Venue Hire benefits and have not yet used the full $2,650 cap, be sure to submit your claims to RemServ by the claim cut-off date on Monday 25 March 2024.
Remember, you may also submit claims for future events you have booked and paid for, including restaurant meals and holiday accommodation, in your 2023-24 FBT year cap, even if the booking date is after 31 March..
You can check your Meal Entertainment balance in the RemServ app or RemServ Online. Please note, if you don't spend your entire cap, your funds will remain in your account, but your cap limit will reset in the next FBT year (1 April 2024 – 31 March 2025).
